Research Brief: Progress Toward AZCCRS Mastery

Method
- ATI conducts ongoing research using procedures based in Item Response Theory (IRT) to evaluate all student responses to each item in the ATI item banks.
- The most recent analyses included item responses from more than 75,000 Arizona students served by ATI districts/charters.
- This research estimates item parameters describing item characteristics including discrimination, difficulty, and guessing.
